The BTTS & Win coupon has the potential to provide bigger wins than most, and we’re backing a Football League treble on Saturday with high hopes of turning £10 into £1,023!
We’re backing three teams to win their respective matches, but also think the losing sides will score in the process. At odds of over 100/1, it would be the perfect way to boost our seasonal winnings on this coupon.
Good luck!
Birmingham City v Nottingham Forest
Gianfranco Zola has endured a difficult start to life at St Andrew’s, but Birmingham’s problems are far fewer than those of Nottingham Forest. As such, a home game against the Reds should be a fantastic opportunity for the new Blues gaffer to register a first win.
Birmingham have at least scored in their home games under Zola, which should give them confidence against an away side that has leaked a massive 26 goals in just 13 away games. The hosts certainly have enough attacking quality to win the game, but they’re equally likely to suffer a few problems in the defensive third.
Forest boast 16 away goals, even if they have lost nine times on the road, and they also have a number of attacking and midfield players capable of scoring. However, they have lost six of their last seven competitive matches while the takeover and managerial situation has distracted their preparations.
There’s still a good chance that they’ll score against a transitional Birmingham. Nevertheless, the hosts should prevail.

Chesterfield v Coventry City
It’s a battle of the bottom at the Proact as Chesterfield take on Coventry, and both teams know that three points could potentially move them out of the dreaded four. With so much to play for, it should be a passionate affair, and we think there will be goals.
Chesterfield’s 12 home games have already produced 36 goals, with Ritchie Humphreys men scoring 17. Despite failing to score in five competitive games, facing a poor Coventry side will be their best chance of getting back on track, especially as the visitors have shipped an average of two goals per game on the road.
Coventry have only scored 10 times on the road, but they have scored once in each of their last three away outings. Marcus Tudgay and co. can be quietly confident of continuing that streak here.
Neither team defends well, and we’re backing the respective attacking units to capitalise. With home advantage on their side, however, we’re tipping the Spireites to claim a crucial victory.

Newport County v Colchester United
John McGreal’s Colchester have been one of the country’s most consistent sides in recent weeks, and they are now up to sixth as they look to gain promotion at the first attempt. But while they will be expected to pick up another three points against struggling Newport, the League Two side probably won’t have everything their own way at Rodney Parade.
Colchester boast five wins on the spin and a total of seven in their last eight. With three natural goal threats courtesy of Chris Porter, Kurtis Guthrie, and Ben Dickenson, scoring shouldn’t be an issue against the struggling hosts. After all, Newport have shipped 23 in just 11 home games.
In fact, Graham Westley’s men enter the clash having lost seven competitive matches in a row. They have scored 14 home goals this season, though. Given that Colchester have shipped 14 in 13 away games, it wouldn’t be that surprising if they find the net.
The reverse clash may have ended 0-0, but we can see this one being far more entertaining. On current form, however, it’s hard to look past an away win.
