Celta Vigo v Getafe – 5.00pm Saturday
Advised bet by @Footyexperttips – Celta Vigo over 1.5 goals – 1.91 – Coral
Celta Vigo are looking good and one of the top form teams in La Liga since the new year.
They have been creating on average 15 attempts on goal and last weeks 2-0 defeat of Villarreal shows they can also take their chances when under pressure.
Getafe on the other hand have not scored in last 5 away game and really struggling to find any kind of result..They’ve lost 8 out of their last 10 games and conceding a fair few.Over 1.5 Vigo goals is a very confident selection.
Wolfsberger AC v Austria Wien – 6.00pm Saturday
Advised bet by @punting_pete – Both teams to score – 1.7 – Ladbrokes
We are off to Austria for my Banker selection this weekend for the Game between Wolfsberger AC and reigning champs Austria Wien and this should be a very entertaining goal fest.
At the Lavanttal-Arena this year not one single side has kept a clean sheet in 12 games. In fact in 27 home games for Wolfsberger, only 3 have ended without both teams finding the net. The last 3 games here head to head have ended 1-4, 1-2, 3-6 all the Austria Wien.
Being a mid-table clash involving the reigning champs and a side who is more than capable of victory, this should be a very open game with both sides gunning for a win.
The 1.70 available at Ladbrokes for BTTS looks a gem. The reason I’m staying away from Over 2.5 goals is because Wolfsberger have had their fair share of 1-1 draws.
Crystal Palace vs Man United – 5.30pm Saturday
Advised bet by @TeamStatBet – Man United Over 1.5 team cards – 1.85
With United sitting 7th in the table and the likelihood of a trophy looking bleak at best, they seem to have resorted to taking their frustration out on their opponents. They’ve have averaged more cards per game this season away from home than any other Premier League side, a shocking statistic when you consider that last season they finished 5th in the Premier League Fair Play table.
Their average of 2.54 cards per game on the road is baffling, but nowhere near as baffling as the bookies’ decision to offer a line of Over/Under 1.5 United cards this weekend against Palace. Moyes’ men have picked up 2 or more yellow cards in 12 of their 13 away games this season and have collected 2 reds on top of that!
Arsenal vs Sunderland – 3.00pm Saturday
Advised bet by @edalock – under 2.5 goals – 2.1 – SkyBet
After Arsenal’s midweek frustrations they’d be looking to bounce back from their woes with a win at home to Sunderland.
Sunderland come into this game winning an amazing 7 of last 10 matches while Arsenal has won just 2 of last 5, worth noting that Arsenal are undefeated in last 12 home games and have kept a clean sheet in 8 of last 9 home matches.
But what really interests me from the statistics is there has been under 2.5 goals in last 9 Arsenal home games which I consider as value @ 2.1 on various bookies.
Also worth noting that Arsenal has won 2-0 in 3 of last 5 games at home in the league with exception of 2 0-0 draws with Manchester United and Chelsea.
