UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE WEATHER CONDITIONS in the UK we have a vastly reduced fixture list this weekend and 2 of our three picks are postponed.
Of remaining games, here are our fancies:
- Leicester v Bournemouth (as mentioned below)
- Derby County v Fulham
- RB Leipzig v Borussia Dortmund (5.30pm)
The above treble pays 3.57/1 at Sun Bets
The snow is likely to limit the weekend’s action, but there should still be room for goals galore in the games that do go ahead. We’re hoping that our three picks are all played as planned, and provide us with the action needed to land a 4/1 winner.
We’ve picked games from the Premier League, League Two, and National League. All six sides will be fancied to get on the scoreboard. If they do, it’ll signal a fantastic start to what is a very exciting March schedule.
Good luck.
Leicester City V Bournemouth
Despite failing to win in that period, Claude Puel’s Leicester have now registered four BTTS winners in the Premier League. Frankly, we expect to see plenty of drama as they welcome Bournemouth to the King Power.
The Foxes boast 20 home goals this term while the firepower of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez should give them a good chance of increasing that tally against a side that has conceded 22 in 14 away games this season. Nonetheless, particularly give the home side’s form, it might not be an easy ride against the Cherries.
Eddie Howe’s men have lost just one of nine league fixtures since Christmas, with all but one of those ending in BTTS winners. Callum Wilson and Jermain Defoe are just two players capable of causing problems for the hosts. If the Cherries can create the chances, their hopes of pulling even further away from the drop zone could be on.
While neither team is likely to score a glut, they should both enjoy productive afternoons in front of goal.

Crawley Town V Wycombe Wanderers
Down in League Two, only Swindon have scored more away goals than Wycombe in 2017/18 and the Chairboys will head to Brighton Road with high hopes of increasing that tally. However, they should expect a tough test against Harry Kewell’s Red Devils.
Despite suffering a couple of away losses in recent weeks, Crawley have won each of their last five home games and will fancy their chances of goals against a defence that has conceded 22 on the road. With several players finding the net on a fairly frequent basis, the hosts can at least expect to score.
On the other hand, Gareth Ainsworth’s men are still in the automatic promotion spots and will be desperate to bounce back in style after two consecutive home losses. The experienced frontline of Adebayo Akinfenwa and co. should have more than enough to find the target in West Sussex, even if their defensive frailties do come back to haunt them.
Wycombe won the reverse clash 4-0, but Crawley have improved a lot since then. Expect to see both teams find the target here.

Solihull Moors V Maidstone United
An improved run of form has put National League side Solihull Moors on the cusp of climbing out of the bottom four in spite of previously looking dead and buried. A positive result against Maidstone on Saturday would certainly boost their cause, but it certainly won’t be easy for Mark Yates’ men.
The hosts have picked up 17 points from their last eight matches while they now boast 20 goals from 17 home matches. When combined with the fact that Maidstone have failed to win any of their last 17 league games, Solihull should find the net.
Maidstone’s terrible run of form has still included goals for Jay Saunders’ men, including two in the loss to Tranmere last weekend. Given that this will be viewed as a winnable fixture, the likes of Ross Lafayette should be well up for this one.
The two sides shared a 1-1 draw in the reverse clash at the Gallagher Stadium. A similar result could be on the cards on Saturday.
