Inverness v Hibernian
Both teams to score odds – 8/11 @ SkyBet
The mighty Caley are flying high at the top of the table. They have looked fantastic so far this season and have been scoring goals.
On paper, they don’t concede many goals. They have only conceded four in the 7 games so far this season. However, it is due to their opponents current form that I have gone for this game.
Hibs started off the season absolutely horrific. Their main goal threat from last season, Leigh Griffiths, was missing and they really struggled and the pressure increased on Pat Fenlon. However, they have finally got their act together and are unbeaten in five league games.
The addition of Paul Heffernan from Killie has added an extra goal threat, along with their big summer signing James Collins. They have scored 7 goals in the last 5 league games. They also scored 5 in midweek against Stranraer. Interestingly, they also conceded 3. I can’t see Inverness not scoring and i fancy Hibs to sneak a goal as they have a threat from midfield as well.
Hearts v Dundee United
Both teams to score odds – 4/6 @ SkyBet
This is another game that screams out goals to me. Hearts currently sit bottom due to the points deduction they have. Without it, they would be sitting about 8th so they have made a decent start to the season.
In Hearts last 7 games, there has only been one game where both teams have not scored. Two of these games were against lower league teams where they conceded 4 goals between the two.
They have also scored a goal in every home game. Dundee utd are beginning to find their feet. I watched them last week and their defence is particularly dodgy. However, they have some cracking players going forward. They have scored 13 goals in their last 6 games. However they also conceded 8.
Dunfermline V Ayr
Both teams to score odds – 8/15 @ SkyBet
We drop down to league 1 for the last of our treble. This game involves two of the form teams in the league. All bar one of Dunfermline league game have had both teams scoring. They have scored 14 and conceded 10 in their league games so far this season.
Ayr started the season on fire with two victories against two of the better teams. Since then, they have went onto drawn their last four games. However, all these draws have had both teams scoring. This game is ahrd to pick a winner but i fully expect both teams to score at least once.
