Burnley Vs Fulham
Both sides come into this on back to back home and away games respectively as Fulham make the long trip to Turfmoor. Burnley edged past Huddersfield on Saturday as Fulham took out Bristol City 4-1. Both sides have good unbeaten runs, with Burnley on Brighton’s tail at the top of the table, whereas the Cottagers look to make it six games without defeat.
Looking at the stats, overall seven of Burnley’s fourteen have gone over two goals with ten of Fulham’s fourteen seeing three or more. Burnley’s home form for goals is more impressive with five from seven meeting our recommendation with the same number from Fulham.

The way the game will go, is similar to the weekend, where the visitors will look for the early goal where nearly 58% of their goals are netting in the first half. Sean Dyche will have his men marking the front two, especially Ross McCormack who is by far one of the hotshots in the league. Kit Symons will apply similar tactics to their win at Bristol City in answering their opponents with goals, although they do concede also.
Five of the last six have seen Fulham net but also concede and all resulting in three or more goals. The hosts have kept two clean sheets in the last six at home but four of those six ended with more than goal goals.
With the tally of results, Burnley are far from the draw specialists with none of the last six ending all square. This can be supported that thirty percent of their goals have come in the final fifteen minutes.
Kit Symons men would take a draw from this and will not hold back netting. Dyche will only accept a win so goals late on could well be likely!
Advised bet: over 2.5 goals at 4/5 with 888sport
MK Dons Vs Charlton
This game is welcomed for both sides, which have both gone at least three games without scoring. Poor Charlton, whose form has nosedived, offloaded their manager, with caretaker manager Karel Fraeye getting off to a losing start losing at the Riverside 3-0.
To Charlton’s credit, they held off title chasing Middlesbrough until the hour mark before conceding, and they shipped two more. It is no easy task to restore confidence in the Charlton side but watching the footage, Charlton compete well for an hour.
Facing MK Dons could not have come sooner as they themselves have suffered a goal drought and will look to change fortunes on Tuesday night. Karl Robinson’s MK Dons can use this game, much like Charlton to re-establish confidence in their strike-force.
With belief that Charlton will have taken positives away from the weekend with both lurking at the wrong end of the table, neither will see a draw as any good.
This could well be a stalemate with zero goals, which I think is less likely, as Charlton and MK dons both have difficulties in keeping goals out. But on the other hand a good game for the attack to test both defences and under the Stadium MK lights there has surely got to be goals and a winner?!
I had priced this at evens for three or more goals with the factors combined with team stats and tendencies ,and it is odds against. With the need that both sides need the three points, but neither will budge easily this game may well surprise.
Advised bet: over 2.5 goals at 17/16 with 888sport
Sevilla Vs Man City
This is the reverse fixture of match day three where Kevin De Bruyne hit an injury time winner, which gave City a three point cushion in second place. Sevilla would have been gutted on the defeat, and will look to make amends. The group could well be shaped up after match day four and all of City’s three games have seen exactly three goals in narrow results.
Both sides come into this with narrow results, with Sevilla losing 2-1 to Getafe and Manchester City grabbing a late winner for the same score line in their favour at the Etihad.
In the last six games in all competition four of Sevilla’s games resulted with three or more, with five of six Manchester City games.
Manuel Pellegrini’s City has conceded in all of their Champions League games thus far with the host netting in two. City could well look at playing a draw out in Spain. This is not a result that would favour the 2015 Europa League champions who could well be heading back to this competition defending their crown with a loss. It must be considered that the other game in the group holds some weighting. German side Monchengladbach will need a result to get back into the mix, so goals will be essential on the night in this group!
