We had to make do without the Premier League last weekend, but its back this weekend so I’ve got one BTTS Yes stats pick in each of England’s top three divisions. Find my selections below, and good luck.
Swansea v Man Utd
Swansea only have a home BTTS Yes strike rate of 46.2%, with 6 of their 13 games seeing both teams score, but besides against Chelsea, they and their opposition have scored when facing teams such as Arsenal and Spurs.
Now, Man United are arguably around the same level as the two big North London clubs and their away BTTS Yes strike rate is a more impressive 66.7%, with 8/12 road games seeing both team score – including away to West Ham in their last road game.
Notably, including at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season, both teams have scored in 5 of the last 6 head-to-head matches between Swansea and Man Utd, so cross your fingers for 6/7.

Huddersfield v Cardiff
Chris Powell’s Huddersfield Town currently have a 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate at the John Smith’s Stadium, with 11 of their 15 home games seeing both teams score, including an impressive 5 of their last 6.
Russell Slade’s Cardiff, meanwhile, have a slightly lower BTTS Yes strike rate from 15 away games, with both teams scoring in 9 to make up a 60% overall percentage. Perhaps crucially, just like their opponents this weekend, both teams have scored in 5 of Cardiff’s last 6 away games.

Barnsley v Crewe
Barnsley sacked Danny Wilson a week or so ago, deeming the club’s form as unacceptable, and have appointed Mark Burton and Paul Heckingbottom on a temporary basis. Hopefully this won’t affect our bet, because this is a decent offering by League One standards.
Anyway, the Tykes have a 66.7% BTTS Yes strike rate, with 10 of their 15 home games seeing both teams score, including 3 of their last 6. Crewe, on the other hand, have a 64.3% BTTS Yes strike rate from 14 away games, with 9 seeing both teams score, including 5 of their last 6.
