After completely clearing up last weekend with all 4 of my ‘little black book’ selections coming in with plenty of time to spare and making a handsome profit, I thought it only right that I try and strike again while the iron is hot.
My BTTS treble record this season has been very kind so far and followers will be in plenty of profit if backing each of my trebles to level stakes. Let’s try and get another one for this weekend!
Ayr United v Stranraer – 3.00pm Saturday
Scottish League 1
Both teams to score odds – 8/15 – Ladbrokes
Stranraer should be top of your BTTS list at present, especially when playing away from home. This Saturday they visit 4th placed Ayr who are only 1 position but 9 points behind the visitors.
The wheels appear to be falling off of Ayr’s season though, and after 4 consecutive league game losses Stranraer have met them at the perfect time and will have their eyes on taking all 3 points. Now is about the right time to mention that BTTS has landed in 92% of Stranraer’s away games this term.
While beating them comprehensively 4-0 in early January at home, the last time they met Ayr away form home in mid November last year the game finished 3-6. If that doesn’t make you confident then nothing will. BTTS all the way here.
Schalke v Hoffenheim – 2.30pm Saturday
German Bundesliga
Both teams to score odds – 1/2 – Ladbrokes
This game looks a screamer for goals. Not necessarily in terms of cold hard stats (although Hoffenheim are one of the best home teasm for BTTS in Europe), but recent trends and head to heads simply shout out for this game to be placed on your coupon.
Firstly Schalke are always good for a goal or two, especially at home. A 5-1 loss against Bayern and a 6-1 mauling against Real Madrid in the Champions League show you their lack of defensive qualities, but on the other hand they’ve failed to score on just 2 occasions in their last 35 home league games.
Hoffenheim have scored 15 goals in their last 5 games; all of them being BTTS.
The 6 games these two have played against each other since October 2011 have featured 24 goals, with all but one of them being positive BTTS results. Do yourself a favour and include this game in your coupon.
Roda JC v NEC Nijmegen – 5.45pm Saturday
Dutch Eredivisie
Both teams to score odds – 9/20 – Ladbrokes
My final selection for the treble had to be from Holland. This match up is a crucial 6 pointer as the teams occupy 18th and 17th in the league respectively (bottom and 2nd bottom) and unless they buck their ideas up they’ll be plying their trade in the Jupiler league next season.
A draw really isn’t of any use to either team so I expect them to be going hell for leather here, which could be great for goals.
I’m well aware that Roda have failed to score in their last 4 games, but take a look at NEC; they’ve kept 3 clean sheets in their last 35 games in all competitions.
