After 2 out of 3 selections romped in before half time, we were looking good for a tasty treble last weekend before Southampton and Norwich decided to play out a bore draw at Carrow Road.
Not to be put off though, as the theory of relegation threatened teams scoring and leaking goals still proved fruitful in the other 2 selections, here we go again for this weekend’s action:

Aston Villa vs QPR
Villa host QPR in another relegation 6 pointer at Villa Park. The hosts have scored and conceded in 8 of their last 9 games and there’s little evidence to suggest this wont make that stat 9 from 10 come 5pm tomorrow. Harry’s Hoops have won their last 2 but victory here is still an absolute must if they want to keep their survival hopes alive. Both teams will be desperate for the 3 points and goals will not be at a premium here!
Hull vs Nottingham Forest
Two of the high fliers in the Championship meet at the KC Stadium hoping for another 3 points towards their respective promotion bids. Second placed Hull have been in indifferent form with 3 wins and 2 defeats from their last 5 but one thing they’re always good for is goals.
There’s been 19 in their last 4 games and we could be due another few here today when an in-form Forest come to town. The away side have won their last 5 as they march up the Championship table and wont be fearing Hull in this one after netting 13 in their winning streak so far.
Aldershot vs AFC Wimbledon
Fellow league two strugglers Aldershot and Wimbledon meet here with 3 precious points at stake as they both try to climb away from the relegation mire. Both teams are in great BTTS form with Aldershot scoring and conceding in each of their last 3 games and AFC Wimbledon their last 4.
These sides have met 3 times recently and every game has seen both team get on the score-sheet, it’s difficult to bet against that becoming 4 from 4 here.
The above treble pays 9/2 with Betfred!
