We all love a Goals Galore bet at the weekend, but how well do we actually know the teams that we are backing to score and concede?
As we all know, teams blow hot and cold, but here are the best and worst teams so far in the UK for the both teams to score bet:
Premier League
The most successful team in the Premier League for Goals Galore this season has been Tottenham. With an overall total of 72.7% of their games containing goals from both sides, they are well ahead of their nearest challengers Southampton and Everton (both 67.6%)
Until recently, you would of been quids in backing Everton to score and concede in every home time, but some stout defending has seen them keep 4 consecutive clean sheets at Goodison.
Although proving the stats wrong yesterday with a 2-2 draw against Chelsea, Liverpool have been the costliest team to follow for Goals Galore when playing at Anfield. Just 6 of their 17 (35.3%) of their home games to date have seen goals for both teams.
Rather surprising are Newcastle, who despite having a very average season, have scored and conceded in 70.6% of away games, failing to hit the net in just 5 road games all term.
Perhaps it’s no shock to reveal that Stoke City are the very worst teams to follow in the Premier League for Goals Galore. They’ve managed to score and concede in just 41.2% of games this season, making their true odds for both teams to score in any one game almost 6/4.
