Goals Betting Tips Friday 6th September – Germans Look Great For At Least 3 Against Austria

Results:
Germany 3-0 Austria – BET WON
England 4-0 Moldova – BET WON

Betting on total team goals can be a great alternative to simply betting on win, lose or draw fixed odds. There are numerous occasions where you worry that a team, although having a great attack, just let too many goals in. Likewise this is a great betting option if you think a team will under perform and not score as many goals as bookmakers may think. Here are my suggestions for Friday’s international games:

Germany over 2.5 team goals v Austria
Kick off – 7.45pm
Odds – 1.62

Germany are never at their best in friendlies, and now back to important qualification matches they should simply brush aside Austria at the Allianz-Arena. I’ve avoided betting on the straight win as Germany have a habit of conceding more than one would like, although that is more in friendly competition.

Germany have scored 13 goals in their last 4 home games, and beat Austria 2-1 in the reverse fixture played late last year. The last time Austria visited Germany (September 2011) they were soundly beaten 6-2. Expect plenty more tonight.

The home side simply have far too much quality for the Austrians and should run amok.

England to win to nil v Moldova
Kick off – 8.00pm

Now I’m in no way being biased here, and people that know me are aware that I would back against my own team if there was value to be had. For some reason Paddy Power are choosing to offer a much higher price on this market than other bookmakers (average 1.25).

Moldova have scored in just 2 of their last 8 away games (a 2-0 win over San Marino and a 2-1 loss to Ukraine), and will do well to even muster up a few goalscoring opportunities against an England side who are far superior.

The 1.4 is just too good to pass over considering England to keep a clean sheet is as short as 1.22 with some bookies. Can you really see England failing to score, even without Wayne Rooney?

The double above pays best at Unibet, paying odds of just over evens (2.03), however if you are thinking of a hefty single bet then the 1.4 for England to win to nil is a gift.
