Last week’s first-leg action has set up a mouth-watering Europa League schedule on Thursday and we’re hoping to capitalise with this 4/1 BTTS treble.
All 32 teams will be hoping for big performances as they bid to reach the last 16 and we should see plenty of goals across the continent. Let’s hope these six teams are amongst them.
Game on!
Besiktas V Liverpool
It’s advantage Liverpool as Mario Balotelli’s headline-making penalty at Anfield gives Brendan Rodgers men a 1-0 lead heading into this pivotal second-leg in Istanbul. However, there is still plenty of work to be done and the Reds will want to score to ease the pressure.
Liverpool are no strangers to the Ataturk Olympic Park, where they famously lifted the 2005 Champions League trophy under exceptional circumstances, and will be hopeful of another enjoyable night as they prepare to take on Besiktas. However, the Turkish outfit boast some dangerous players and the likes of Demba Ba and Olcay Sahan can cause problems for the Reds.
Nevertheless, it is the visitors who will be firm favourites to qualify and the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge are equally likely to create chances. However, like Besiktas, Liverpool can be a little vulnerable at the back and will do well to keep a clean sheet in Turkey.
Slaven Bilic’s home side need goals, whilst Liverpool know an away goal will give them a fantastic chance of advancing. Back both teams to score.
BTTS Yes @ 4/5
Fiorentina V Tottenham Hotspur
Last week, it took just 36 minutes for both Tottenham and Fiorentina to score during their crucial first-leg at White Hart Lane and we’re anticipating another exciting affair in this reverse clash in Italy.
The winner of this fascinating match will really fancy their chances of going far in this year’s Europa League and that should spark an end-to-end war at Fiorentina’s Stadio Artemio Franchi. Mauricio Pochettino’s visitors must score thanks to the away-goals rule and his players will also be hoping to secure a place in Sunday’s Capital One Cup final, so we can expect a spirited performance form Spurs.
However, Vincenzo Montella’s men will hardly want to sit back on a 1-1 aggregate score and that should spur the Italians on as they bid to reach the last 16. The hosts are unbeaten in 10 games heading into this clash, with nine of those coming via BTTS winners and there should be chances at both ends of the pitch once more.
Goals have been a common feature for the Italians in recent months and the fact both they and Spurs are out for the win should make for another absorbing showdown.

Sporting Lisbon V Wolfsburg
Dutch hotshot Bas Dost fired Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg into a 2-0 lead during last week’s first-leg in Germany and the 25-year-old will be looking to ensure Dieter Hecking’s men reach the last 16.
Wolfsburg are firmly in the driving seat as they head into the crucial second-leg is Portugal and know that an away goal should see them through. The visitors have scored in every game of their current 15-game unbeaten streak and we cannot see that run coming to an end.
An away goal would force Lisbon into requiring a minimum of four goals to progress and, whilst their chances of accomplishing that are slim, there is no reason to think Marco Silva’s men won’t find the target here. The hosts are unbeaten in 14 competitive fixtures at the Estadio Jose Avalade, scoring in all of those encounters, and will be taking an attack-minded approach against the Germans.
Sporting will need to attack from the off and we think they will get amongst the goals. However, Wolfsburg will be equally eager to kill the tie with an away goal and we’d also expect them to score.
