Champions League football returns this week and there are a number of mouth-watering ties on offer over the course of Tuesday and Wednesday. We’re picking one game from that competition as part of our massive 97/1 Results Rush treble at Coral. Join us today and for a £5 deposit you’ll get a £20 free bet at Coral.
The chance to turn £10 into nearly a grand with just three selections is simply too good to turn down and we’ve added our Champions League pick to two games from the Football League schedule to produce this potentially lucrative acca.
Good luck!
BATE Borisov V Shakhtar Donetsk
Our first selection comes from the Champions League and we’re predicting plenty of goals in the game in Belarus as BATE entertain Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Belarusians won their last home match in this competition by defeating Athletic Bilbao 2-1, but they could be in for a much tougher night against a vastly experienced Shakhtar. The visitors have drawn both of their opening fixtures so will seek the full three points from this one and we expect them to claim the win they desperately need.
BATE conceded six at Porto in their Group H opener and Shakhtar will fancy their chances of goals, especially with the likes of Alex Teixeira and Douglas Costa providing the ammunition for Aleksandr Gladkiy.
The Ukrainians are still firm favourites to progress to the last 16 and could really do with the victory here. Whilst they should score enough goals to make that happen, the home side can at least hope to find the target.

Blackpool V Derby County
The Championship’s bottom club are still struggling for points but have seen some improvements in recent weeks. Whilst we don’t think they can get any points against Steve McLaren’s Rams, there is a good chance that they can at least get on the scoresheet.
Blackpool have endured a hellish few months off the field, which has inevitably spilled into matters on it, but they will take confidence from the 1-0 win over Cardiff in their last match at Bloomfield Road. That was followed up by a 4-2 loss at Huddersfield to make it four scoring games on the spin for Jose Riga’s men.
Nevertheless, Derby will be favourites for this contest and it isn’t hard to see why. The Rams are currently second in the Championship standings and have hit 22 goals in just 12 games. However, they have also shipped 10, which will serve as a further source of optimism for the hosts.
Unfortunately, even scoring might not be enough to save Blackpool in this one and the likes of Chris Martina and Will Hughes will be ready to fire the visitors to yet another victory.

Northampton Town V Oxford United
A lot was made when Chris Wilder traded the Kassam Stadium for Sixfields last season but the Northampton boss appears to be vindicated by the current League Two standings and he’ll be looking to get one over his former employers again here.
The Cobblers are enjoying a much better season than Tuesday night’s opponents and sit in the top half of the table where as Oxford are currently floating dangerously close to the drop zone. Wilder’s men have also won three of their opening six home games, drawing another, and should be confident against one of the poorer teams in the division.
Conversely, struggling Oxford have failed to win any of their opening six away games this term. On a brighter note, though, they have at least found the net in three of their last four – another reason to have faith in this selecition.
Northampton won the corresponding fixture on the final day of 2013/14 via a 3-1 scoreline. A similar story wouldn’t be at all surprising on Tuesday.
