There’s a number of Football League matches for punters to sink their teeth into on Tuesday night and we’re seeking the big win with this mammoth 88/1 treble on the BTTS and Win coupon at Coral.
Our three selections come from action in the Championship and League One. We’re backing these three teams to all grab the points, despite failing to keep clean sheets.
Good luck!
Rotherham United V Derby County
Championship title-chasers Derby County suffered a disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of Reading last weekend, but Steve McClaren’s Rams have been in great league form and should keep their good form going strong with a win against Rotherham United.
Derby have hit 24 goals on the road and will be confident against a home side currently sitting just three points above the relegation zone. The Rams have shipped 15 times in those 15 away games, though, and that will give confidence to Steve Evans’ men.
Rotherham have found the net for four games running and also boast 18 goals at the New York Stadium. However, they have also shipped 20 times in that period and regularly struggle against the division’s top sides. A point would definitely be considered a good result for the hosts.
Derby’s past three competitive matches have ended in BTTS winners and that sequence should be extended here. Nevertheless, we have to fancy the away win.

Colchester United V MK Dons
Karl Robinson’s Dons will have been gutted not to have capitalised on the defeats of Swindon and Bristol City last weekend but should get their title bid back on track with three points against Colchester United.
However, the Eagles will be in good spirits after their weekend triumph at Oldham and can at least hope to push Milton Keynes all the way here, especially on home turf. Unfortunately, though, despite scoring 16 goals in 14 home games, the Essex club have only won three times in front of their own supporters and that poor record has been crucial for their continued struggles throughout 2014/15.
Tony Humes’ men must improve defensively if they are going to climb out of the relegation zone and it seems inevitable that those frailties will be their downfall against the division’s most frequent scorers. If the likes of Dele Ali and Will Grigg deliver the goods then it should be a comfortable away win.
The Dons hit six past Colchester at the Stadium: MK in November and should face no complications in grabbing the win here. However, the hosts can at least join the visitors on the scoresheet.

Scunthorpe United V Chesterfield
Staying in League One, Paul Cook’s Spireites have dropped out of the play-off zone thanks to two consecutive defeats and could be set for another disappointment at Glanford Park.
Chesterfield have really struggled since losing top scorer Owen Doyle in January and are finding the target on a far less frequent basis. However, the visitors will fancy their chances of a goal against a leaky Scunthorpe defence.
On the other hand, though, Mark Robins’ side have been in really strong form over the past couple of months, losing just three of their last 15 League One fixtures. Their improved form has largely been down to their increased attacking prowess and they’ll be extremely confident against an away side that has shipped two in its last five matches.
The League One rivals shared a 2-2 draw here in January’s FA Cup clash and we are confident that this will be another goal of games. On this occasion, however, we have to lean towards a home win.
