In addition to a mouth-watering schedule from the Football League, this weekend’s action also provides some fascinating matches in the FA Cup qualifying phase. We’re looking to combine the two with our huge weekend BTTS & Win treble.
With odds of well over 130/1 at Betfair, we could be winning over a £1300 from one simple £10 treble. Now that has to sound appealing.
Good luck!
Chesterfield V Scunthorpe United
After picking up a dominant 3-0 victory over Southend United on Tuesday, an in-form Chesterfield will be confident about picking up another three points at the Proact. And you certainly wouldn’t bet against them as they take on Scunthorpe United.
The hosts haven’t been brilliant at home, but a return of 13 goals from seven matches will please manager Dean Saunders. The goals of Sylvain Ebanks-Blake and Lee Novak should give the Spireites a great chance of picking up the points against an away side that has conceded at least twice in every away game, and we certainly think the home side will win.
However, Scunthorpe have found the target in all but one of their away games this season and Mark Robins will be looking to the goals of Paddy Madden for inspiration once more. They should score against a defence that has leaked 12 on home soil, but we’re not sure it will be enough to see them secure any points.
Last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 4-1 win to the Spireites. A similar result wouldn’t surprise us at all.

Wycombe Wanderers V Carlisle United
Gareth Ainsworth’s Chairboys have suffered a miserable few weeks in League Two and enter this weekend’s action on the back of three straight defeats as well as a JPT exit. Unfortunately for last year’s play-of finalists, it might not get any easier as they welcome Carlisle to Adams Park.
Wycombe will at least fancy their chances of goals, especially as Tuesday’s loss to Newport was their first home league blank of the season. The hosts have scored 10 goals in just seven home matches while the visitors have leaked 13 on the road. Expect the home team to score.
Nonetheless, goals have been a common feature at both ends for Keith Curle’s men and the Cumbrians will be expected to score too. They’ve been a firm favourite for BTTS punters this season, and fans will fancy them to take advantage of the out-of-form home side too.
That should hopefully be the recipe for an away win, with both teams to score.

Bromley V Eastleigh
The afternoon’s FA Cup qualifying schedule serves up a selection of mouth-watering fixtures, but none come more exciting than the clash between Conference National rivals Bromley and Eastleigh. If league form is anything to go by, this should be a cracking contest, and that’s exactly what we’re expecting to see.
Mark Goldberg’s home side have scored 21 goals in just nine home league games, with star man Moses Ademola boasting 12 league goals by himself. If they can bring that form into the cup, there’s no reason to doubt their goalscoring abilities against an away side that has leaked 10 times on the road.
The hosts have only kept three clean sheets in their last 10 matches, though, and visiting Eastleigh will be confident about increasing their tally of 15 away goals. Meanwhile, four of their last five away games have ended in BTTS winners and the goals seem unlikely to dry up.
However, both teams will be eager to go for the win as neither will want a replay. On this occasion, we’re backing home advantage to see Bromley through.
