Travelling Wigan have hardly sparkled in the early quarter of the campaign, but they are at least finding the target on a regular basis. Gary Caldwell’s men boast six goals in five matches on the road but the Latics will be concerned about the 10 that they’ve conceded.

Pompey are unbeaten on the road thus far, registering seven goals in five matches. They’ll also be pleased to be scoring goals from a number of sources and should have no trouble finding the net against an out-of-form Cambridge.
Richard Money’s men have struggled for form in recent weeks, but they have managed six goals from five home games and will also take heart from a 1-0 win over Stevenage in their last game here.
Nonetheless, the gulf in class and confidence should show and we’re predicting an away win. Even if the hosts do score.

Chester V Lincoln City
Steve Burr’s Chester haven’t enjoyed the greatest start to the Conference season, but their form at the Swansway Stadium has been very pleasing. They enter Saturday’s showdown with Lincoln having lost just one of seven home games this term, and will be confident about clinching a third straight win in front of their supporters.
Chester have scored in every home game this season and will be eager to increase their tally of nine against an Imps side that have shipped eight in seven on the road. However, Chris Moyses side does boast two natural goalscorers in the form of Matt Rhead and Liam Hearn, so the visitors can be equally optimistic about finding the target.
Lincoln are usually great value for a BTTS winner but their past four games on the road have ended with one side failing to score. We think that run will come to an end, but can’t see them claiming the spoils at a stadium where they were beaten 4-0 back in January.
If Chester play as they have in recent home game, it should be another victory for the hosts. However, after netting back-to-back wins on the road, we think the visitors will at least score.
