After picking up a nice treble win last night courtesy of Liam Newman I’ve decided to try and follow it up with a quickfire double up to keep the money rolling in. We haven’t got the huge fixture list we had last night, but nevertheless there seems to be some quality games to make up a BTTS coupon this Wednesday.
Here are my findings.
Southampton v West Ham 7.45pm
Despite being pretty solid at home and hitting BTTS in just 25% of home games this season I think that West Ham will find the back of the net at St. Mary’s tonight.
The Saints have kept just 1 clean sheet in their last 5 home games in all competitions, letting Swansea, Crystal Palace, Ipswich and Chelsea find the target since late December. They did however keep a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Arsenal on New Years Day.
Looking at West Ham on their travels, they have a great strike rate for goals. They’ve failed to score in just 2 of their 11 road games this season and they can be forgiven for drawing a blank at Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Saints can be pretty confident of finding the net, but don’t discount the Hammers. They’ve been to some tough grounds this term and given their opponents a good game. I’d predict possible a 2-1 or 3-1 home win. Perfect for BTTS.

West Brom v Swansea 7.45pm
The Baggies came back from 0-2 down at Burnley on Sunday to grab a 2-2 draw and I’m expecting Tony Pulis’ side to go on from that tonight and make it difficult for Garry Monk’s Swansea outfit.
WBA have scored in two thirds of their home games this season while the visitors have found the goal in 8 consecutive away games in all completions.
The reverse fixture of this game was played back in late August in a game that ended 3-0 to Swansea. However I’m not expecting anything like that scoreline this time around and my prediction is a 1-1 draw or something similar. Both teams will score here.
