With a smattering of League and Champions League action this Tuesday night I though it only right to have a little flutter on the BTTS market, as there are a couple that I feel have a nice bit of potential for goals.

Not a hard selection here and I’m sure you’ll agree. Despite the fact The Gunners have lost just 1 of their last 11 games since Boxing Day, it’s true that a few 0-0 scorelines aren’t exactly ideal.
However this is the Champions League and Arsenal have only failed to score in 2 of their last 30 home games in this competition. Opponents Barcelona are undefeated in all competitions since early October last year and boast a great scoring record on their travels in this competition (they’ve scored in each of their last 10 away days).

Exeter v Oxford United
Here’s the second BTTS game I fancy. You know where you are with Exeter. A solid mid-table side that do their best to produce as many points as they can at home. This has shown in performances this term at St. James’ Park where they have only failed to find the back of the net 3 times in 16 games.
Visitors Oxford will be getting slightly worried with the lack of points they are collecting recently and they will be really hurting after their weekend loss to Accrington (conceding late against 10 men). They’ll be looking to regain some form of composure in this game and keep their promotion surge on track.
Oxford beat tonight’s opponents 3-0 in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day and will be looking to take all 6 available points from The Grecians. Don’t expect it to be easy for them though. BTTS all the way here.

Partick Thistle v St. Johnstone
Final pick of Tusday night comes from the Scottish Premier League. Visitors St. Johnstone were one of the stars of the BTTS coupon earlier in the season, and after a lean spell which included a couple of 0-0’s they seem back to form now – for this bet at least.
Partick Thistle beat tonight’s opponents 2-1 in the reverse fixture played back in mid October, so will be intent on taking another 3 points, while St. Johnstone have failed to score in just 2 away league games so far this season.
It’s a muddling game to predict the outcome of but you’ve got to imagine that both sides will find the back of the net at least once. With BTTS also at odds against for this game it really does seem worth taking a bash at this game.
