The Champions League group phase might be over, but the European drama of 2015 isn’t over just yet and we’re preparing for the final set of Europa League matches by backing this BTTS treble.
We’re backing six teams to all end the group stage with a goal. At odds of nearly 9/2 with SkyBet, it has to be worth a punt. Good luck if you follow, let’s hope it sets us up nicely for the weekend.
FC Midtjylland V Club Brugge. 6PM
Our first selection comes courtesy of an important battle at the MCH Arena as Danish side Midtjylland look to seal their qualification from Group D as they take on Club Brugge.
The hosts haven’t been in the best form, losing each of their past two fixtures. However, they have scored in each of their past five home matches and will also take heart from 3-1 win in Belgium earlier in the campaign. If they can provide Morten Rasmussen and Martin Pusec with regular service, Jess Thorup’s men should have no trouble getting the result they crave.

Brugge will provide tough competition, though, especially as the visitors enter this clash having won four of their past five competitive fixtures. Michel Preud’homme’s men have no choice but to attack, which could be great news for this bet at both ends of the pitch.
If the reverse clash is anything to go by, this game has every chance of bringing high drama. With both teams still battling for a place in the last 32, it should be an intriguing battle to say the least.

Sporting Lisbon V Besiktas. 8:05PM
In Group H, three teams are still vying for the two qualification spots. With third-placed Sporting Lisbon facing leaders Besiktas, we should be in for a thrilling battle at the Estadio Jose Alvalade.
The Portuguese hosts might be two points adrift, but a sixth straight victory in all competitions would see them qualify. A return of 11 goals in five previous group games suggests they’ve got the firepower. Meanwhile, a 1-1 draw in Turkey should give them cause for optimism too.
However, the visitors know that an away draw would see them through while a win would see them top the group. The incentive is clear for Senol Gunas’s side, and the goals of Mario Gomez should give them a fantastic chance.
It seems inevitable that only one team can reach the last 32 as Lokomotiv Moscow should win their match. Let’s hope that need for a result brings drama at both ends.

Tottenham Hotspur V AS Monaco. 8:05PM
Mauricio Pochettino’s have already sealed their progress to the knockout phase, so they can afford to relax a little against Monaco. Nevertheless, they will want to put on a show at White Hart Lane while the fringe players will be eager to make the most of this playing opportunity, which is why we think they will score.
The Group J leaders have hit eight goals already, and should have plenty of quality regardless of what players are picked to start. However, it is worth noting that they’ve only kept one clean sheet in this year’s competition too.
Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 visitors have scored in their last four and also know that they need a win to give themselves any chance of qualification. Leonardo Jardim’s side does boast attacking quality in the form of Lacina Traore and Stephan El Shaarawy too. They are more than capable of capitalising on Tottenham’s lack of urgency.
Nevertheless, the home side should still score a goal. Back both teams to score.
