This weekend, we’re focusing all of our attentions on League One and are hopeful that these three selections will help us land a winning BTTS treble.

Coventry City v Swindon Town
Following a damaging run of four straight defeats, Tony Mowbray’s men finally got back to winning ways at Blackpool last weekend and will be desperate to get their play-off bid back on track with three points at the City of Coventry Stadium. However, they shouldn’t expect to have things all their own way against an improved Swindon Town.
The visitors are now six games without a loss and Luke Williams has steered the Robins towards safety since taking over. The goals of Nicholas Ajose and Jonathan Obika should give them a fantastic chance against a Coventry team that’s still a little low in confidence.
On the other hand, it is worth noting that four of Swindon’s last five have ended in BTTS winners, which shows those defensive weaknesses still remain. Having conceded 28 on the road, they may find it hard to shutout a home side that’s scored 35 in 18 on home soil. Adam Armstrong and co have often shown a lot of creativity at the least creatively named stadium, and the hosts should at least hit the target, even if they don’t score.
It was 2-2 when the sides met back at the County Ground. A similar result on Saturday would suit us just fine.

Fleetwood Town v Barnsley
In spite of last week’s defeat to Southend, Paul Heckinghbottom has worked wonders since taking the reigns at Barnsley and the Tykes will still be dreaming of gaining promotion through the play-offs. They could give their hopes a major boost by scoring an away win at Highbury.
Barnsley certainly shouldn’t fear Fleetwood, particularly as they’ve netted 28 away goals already. Sam Winnall boasts 17 goals overall and should be a constant threat to the home defence. The hosts have only shipped 17 at home, but the visitors have more than enough quality to get amongst the goals.
The Tykes do tend to concede on their travel, though, leaking 29 already. While Steven Pressley’s men might be sitting near the bottom of the table, they have notched an impressive 28 in 18 in front of their own supporters. Following a rare blank last week, we’re backing them to be involved in a fifth BTTS winner in six.
Both teams can attack while the respective defences aren’t exactly bullet proof. We don’t think it will be the day’s highest scoring game by any means, but there should be goals at either end.

Southend United v Gillingham
Our final selection comes from Roots Hall, where Phil Brown may have one eye on the Bolton job, but will still be hoping to see his Southend side give their play-off bid a boost with a crucial win over Gillingham.
The hosts should know that they have their work cut out, though, as Justin Edinburgh’s men are starting to turn the corner and could keep their promotion bid alive with a victory. If they are going to seal the three points, it’ll probably be thanks to the division’s most frequent attacking unit.
Gillingham have shipped 28 on the road, though, which will certainly give the home side hope. After all, Southend do boast 24 goals at home and should be optimistic after last week’s win away at Barnsley.
The reverse clash ended in a score draw. Don’t be surprised if we see a similar result on Saturday.
