Tuesday’s schedule serves up a crucial set of fixtures across the Football League as well as two fascinating Champions League knockout stage matches.
Goals should be a theme of the night and we’re looking to take advantage with this BTTS treble, which pays out at just under 5/1 at Ladbrokes.
Game on!
AS Monaco V Arsenal
Arsene Wenger’s men have no choice but to go all guns blazing as they look to overturn a 3-0 first-leg deficit in France. Those circumstances should give us a great chance of goals at either end of the pitch.
Despite the 3-1 home loss, Arsenal could have won on a different day and we’re confident that they will create the chances needed to restore some pride at the least. They were brilliant at Old Trafford last Monday and will look to that performance, as well as the dominant weekend display over West Ham, for inspiration as they bid to produce the almost impossible.
However, the French hosts showed their counter-attacking qualities at the Emirates three weeks ago and Leonardo Jardim’s men will be confident heading into this crucial second-leg at the Stade Louis II, especially after hitting three goals in each of their past two games.
Arsenal need a massive result and we think they could grab the win. Unfortunately, one Monaco goal would probably kill the tie and the hosts should captialise on the inevitable gaps that will be left.

Derby County V Middlesbrough
The Championship title-race is really heating up with no less than five teams holding genuine aspirations of lifting the crown. Two of those competitors meet in a crucial clash at the iPro on Tuesday night and we’re expecting fireworks from two of the division’s top scoring clubs.
Between them, the two sides have netted 127 goals this term. Meanwhile, the corresponding fixture in each of the past two campaigns has ended in BTTS winners and we’re hopeful that the impressive attacking talent in both camps will ensure a similar story develops here.
Aitor Karanka’s visitors do boast an incredibly tight defensive record, but they have started to concede more frequently in recent weeks and could be in for another tough night against a Rampant Rams attack. The home side have hit 41 in just 17 matches at the iPro and will definitely want to increase that tally against Boro.
Nevertheless, Boro are looking like one of the most likely candidates for the title and could send a huge warning shot to their rivals with three points. At the very least, we expect them to score.

Leyton Orient V Barnsley
League One side Barnsley have enjoyed a great run of form under new boss Lee Johnson and are now incredibly in the play-offs following a run of six straight victories. The Tykes will be expected to continue their fine form against struggling Leyton Orient, but should be prepared for a tough test against the relegation threatened O’s.
The hosts remain in the dreaded bottom four but a comfortable weekend win over Yeovil has reignited their hopes of survival and Fabio Liverani’s men could even jump out of the relegation zone should they claim victory. Whilst their results have been poor, they can at least look to a return of 23 home goals for a source of optimism. Unfortunately, conceding 28 from those 18 matches will be a major cause for concern.
If Barnsley perform to the level they have in recent weeks then they’re should be no worries about them scoring, particularly if young striker George Waring continues his recent purple patch. However, the Tykes can still be vulnerable at the back and that is an area that Orient must look to take advantage of.
Barnsley should be looking for the win but it might be easier said than done. Either way, we’re backing both teams to score.
