Tuesday’s football offering serves a selection of matches across the Football League, as well as some matches in the Champions League and Non-League pyramid. Fans will be anticipating plenty of action and we’ll be hoping for goals with this BTTS treble that pays over 4/1 at Paddy Power.
Having netted a winning combination this time last week, we’re hoping to repeat the feat with these selections and are optimistic about beating the bookie once more.
Game on!
Blackburn Rovers V Norwich City
A 1-1 draw against Blackpool at the weekend signalled a fifth straight BTTS winner at Ewood Park for Championship side Blackburn and we think Gary Bowyer’s men will provide plenty more entertainment as they take on Norwich.
Rovers have posted 25 goals at Ewood Park this term, but have additionally shipped 17 from their 16 Championship home ties. With the likes of Rudy Geste and Jordan Rhodes amongst their arsenal, their decent attacking results come as no surprise. However, they’ll do very well to keep the Canaries quiet.
Alex Neil’s men enter Tuesday’s match on the back of four straight wins, a run in which they’ve scored an impressive 12 goals. Like Blackburn, their attacking players are particularly dangerous for this level and the likes of Lewis Grabban and Cameron Jerome are easily capable of causing Rovers problems.
Norwich will probably fancy their chances of a win but know they’re in for a tough test. Goals would appear to be the obvious selection.

Scunthorpe United V Barnsley
Our second selection comes from Glanford Park, where BTTS favourites Scunthorpe and Barnsley do battle in what should be a fascinating League One encounter.
Both clubs occupy places just above the relegation zone and will have pinpointed this as a winnable fixture. That positive thinking, combined with their respective scoring records should make for a cracking clash and we’d expect both teams to find the target at some stage.
The visiting Tykes have found the net in five of their past six League One matches, but have also kept just a single shutout during that period. Meanwhile, Mark Robins’ Iron found the net in 12 of their most recent 15 home games, enjoying very productive results against the other League One strugglers.
November’s reverse meeting at Oakwell ended in a 2-1 win for Scunthorpe and a similar scoreline wouldn’t surprise us at Glanford Park. We’ll be happy as long as both teams find the target at some stage.

Swindon Town V Bradford City
Staying in League One and we’re predicting another intense affair as promotion rivals Swindon and Bradford collide at the County Ground.
Mark Cooper’s men are suffering a poor run of form right now, which is threatening to derail their title bid. The Robins have lost four of their past five league encounters but they can at least take confidence from their impressive home form. Swindon have scored 27 times in 15 home fixtures, losing just three times in front of their own fans.
Meanwhile, the Bantams are enjoying a phenomenal spell in both the league and cup so will be in good spirits heading into Tuesday’s contest. Victory would give Phil Parkinson’s men a real boost as they look to cement a play-off spot and we think they will capitalise on Swindon’s vulnerable defence.
However, Bradford aren’t overly confident at the back, keeping just one clean sheet in their past seven league games and we can’t see Swindon failing to find the target here. Back both teams to score.
