Tuesday is a real treat for fans of cup football as we’ve got games from the Capital One Cup and FA Cup to look forward to. We’re sticking with the latter for tonight’s BTTS treble which pays just over 5/1 at BetVictor
With the third round draw having already taken place, all six teams know who they’d face should they progress and that should serve as an extra incentive in tonight’s crucial replays.
Let’s hope for goals.
Luton Town V Bury
An injury time equaliser earned Bury a replay 10 days ago and that give the visitors an extra boost in belief coming into this clash at Kenilworth Road.
However, the Hatters will be the firm favourites on home soil and John Still’s men will be fully expected to find the target after winning seven of their 10 League Two home matches. Perhaps more impressive, though, is their defensive record of just four conceded.
That might come as a fairly frightening stat for people backing Bury to score, but one of those four Luton goals against did come against the Shakers. In total, David Flitcroft’s men have hit 11 in 10 away league games.
They have shipped 15, though, and are also yet to keep a clean sheet in this competition. If the visitors can find the target then this should be a BTTS winner.

Mansfield Town V Cambridge United
Our second pick is another all-League Two encounter as Mansfield meet Cambridge for the third time this season.
It took just 10 minutes for both teams to score in the original meeting at the Abbey and they also each scored in the final 10 just for good measure. The Stags have now scored in five of their last six competitive matches, whilst Cambridge have also fired just a single blank in that period so there is no reason to think the goals will dry up here.
Between them, the sides boast a combined total of 53 goals in 40 league games and if that form is carried into the cup then fans could be in for another cup treat between these League Two rivals.
October’s corresponding League Two fixture ended goalless but, with the winner set to meet either Luton or Bury in round three, there is a genuine chance for the winner to reach round four and that should spark a flurry of activity at Field Mill.

Tranmere Rovers V Oxford United
League Two rivals Tranmere and Oxford shared an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Kassam and we think the goals will continue to flow in this reverse clash at Prenton Park.
Saturday’s 1-0 win at Dagenham was the first of five Tranmere games to not end in a BTTS winner and Michael Adams men have also scored in each of their past five competitive home matches. Similarly, Oxford have found the net in all of their last six away games.
As far as League Two matters are concerned, Tranmere have scored 12 and conceded 13 at home. Meanwhile, the U’s have notched 10 in 10, whilst leaking 16 in the defensive third.
With a third round home tie against Swansea on offer, both teams will be extremely motivated for this one. Expect an entertaining battle with goals at both ends.
