There’s still plenty to play for on the final day of another exhilarating League One campaign and we’re looking to win big too by landing this 9/2 BTTS treble at Betfred
The action kicks off at 12:15 and we’re backing these six teams to give us the perfect Sunday lunch by each ending the season with goals.
[ninja-inline id=3937]Crawley Town V Coventry City
Whilst a lot of teams don’t have too much to play for on the final day, Dean Saunders’ Red Devils will be desperate to grab the win that would probably secure their League One status.
Crawley enter the closing day sitting in the bottom four on goal difference. However, with Notts County playing Gillingham away, the hosts have to be confident that three points would see them survive. That will naturally serve as a huge incentive as they look to punish a particularly vulnerable Sky Blues defence.
Coventry have conceded 59 goals this term but do boast 47 at the right end, including two in the 2-2 home draw against Crawley earlier this season. Tony Mowbray’s men will want to end the campaign on a high but could be in for a long afternoon against a home side that scored three in last week’s clash at Peterborough.
Neither team possesses a particularly strong defence and we’re backing the respective attacking units to enjoy a productive final afternoon. Back both teams to score.

Oldham Athletic V Peterborough United
Our second selection comes from Boundary Park as Oldham Athletic look to end a turbulent league campaign on a high as they take on an inconsistent Peterborough.
Dean Holden hasn’t had the best of times since replacing Lee Johnson at the Latics helm. However, Oldham have secured their League One status for another year and will be looking to 15-goal striker Jonathan Fonte to fire them to a final day victory against Posh.
The visitors do enter this clash on the back of a three game unbeaten streak and Dave Robinson’s side will be eager to end the season in style after seeing their play-off charge crumble. However, Posh haven’t kept a clean sheet in four away trips and could be put under pressure by a home side that has hit 31 home goals.
Nonetheless, Peterborough are the stronger side and should extend their tally of 25 away goals against an Oldham outfit that has leaked 33 at Boundary Park. A score draw wouldn’t surprise us here.

Port Vale V Fleetwood Town
At one stage, Port Vale looked like being dragged into the mire but a four-game unbeaten streak has saved Robert Page’s men at jus the right time and they enter Sunday’s showdown against Fleetwood knowing their League One status is assured. Hopefully this will see the hosts attack in this final clash of the season.
Vale Park has seen its fair share of goals this term, with the hosts scoring 30 and conceding 29 from their previous 22 home fixtures. Moreover, their past three league matches have ended in BTTS winners and we suspect that run will continue against Fleetwood.
Whilst Fleetwood only boast 19 away goals, their extra quality should see Graham Alexander’s men find the target. However, the visitors are winless in four and could struggle to keep Vale at bay for a full 90 minutes.
Oldham registered a 2-0 victory at Highbury back in January and will be optimistic heading into this final day fixture. The Shrimps are a decent side, though, and should at least end the season with a goal.
