Once again the first round of FA Cup action is upon us and we’re looking to celebrate this landmark day in the football calendar with this 4/1 BTTS treble at BetVictor.
Clubs from the third tier and below are now potentially just 180 minutes away from landing that dream third round trip to Old Trafford and as always we’re anticipating plenty of drama from the world’s longest running cup competition.
Here are the three games we’ve pinpointed as fantastic goal glut candidates:
Bromley V Dartford
Of all the remaining teams from level six or below, Conference South club Bromley are arguably the most likely to reach round two as they face struggling Conference National side Dartford.
Mark Goldberg’s side enter this clash on the back of four straight victories and haven’t tasted defeat in their last seven competitive fixtures. The home fans will be confident at the Courage Stadium and a minor upset could well be on the cards against a Dartford side that has tasted victory on the road just once this season.
The visitors are 21st in the Conference National and could be set to swap divisions with the hosts at the end of this campaign. However, Tony Burman’s men will be desperate to extend their run in the competition, especially as a third round glamour tie could potentially save them from financial meltdown.
Both teams will be well and truly up for this fixture and we can see it being a thoroughly entertaining showdown. It might be tough to call the outcome, but there should be plenty of scoring opportunities. Let’s hope for goals at either end.

Eastleigh V Lincoln City
Another all Non-League battle takes place at the Silverlake Stadium as Eastleigh entertain Lincoln in what will be their first of two head-to-head meetings in November.
Goals have been a common theme for both of these Conference National rivals in 2014/15. Each side has hit 30 league goals, although the visitors have played twice more. The Imps have also conceded a whopping 33 times, whilst the hosts are also leaking goals on 24 occasions.
Each side enters this match on the back of three straight BTTS winners in the league and that form should transfer to the cup competition here, especially due to he added incentive of reaching the second round.
The teams meet here again in just seven days time but this is no dress rehearsal. Expect an attacking display from both sides.

Tranmere Rovers V Bristol Rovers
One of the most exciting ties of the first round comes from Prenton Park as Tranmere face Bristol Rovers hoping to avoid the embarrassment of being knocked out by a Non-League opponent.
Michael Adams’ men can be confident about finding the net on Saturday, especially coming into this contest on the back of two successive 2-2 draws. However, their defensive problems have cost them dearly so far this season and sees them in the League Two relegation zone at this stage of the campaign; they should be prepared for another possible disappointment here.
The Pirates on the other hand are going really strong in the Conference and will certainly fancy their chances of an instant return to the Football League. However, an extended cup run would really give Darrell Clarke’s men a momentum boost and the visitors will be confident after scoring in each of their past seven away matches.
Bristol Rovers beat Dorchester 7-1 in the previous round of this competition. Whilst a repeat of that scoreline is virtually impossible, it wouldn’t surprise us if the visitors score another away win here. Nevertheless, we do think the hosts can at least score a consolation.
