It’s a huge day for football this Saturday and, come 7:45PM, all eyes will be cast to the Champions League final in Berlin. However, there’s still plenty more action taking place across the continent and we’re hoping to capitalise with this BTTS treble.
Scandinavia is regularly a hotbed of goalmouth action and we’re concentrating on those leagues for our weekend selections. Hopefully these six clubs will all find the target at some stage during the afternoon.
Good luck.

Valerenga V Rosenborg. 2:30PM
Norway’s TIppeligaen is in full swing and rivals Valerenga and Rosenborg are both flying high ahead of what is easily this weekend’s most fascinating prospect in Scandinavia. We just hope it live up to the billing.
After 11 round of action, the two clubs boast a combined total of 62 goals. Whilst the two defences have been quite impressive, that firepower should lead to a game of chances at the Ullevaal. With the likes of Alex Soderlund, Tobias Mikkelsen, Deshorn Brown and Damiel Holm on display, there should be no reason to worry.
Valerenga enter this clash on the back of four straight wins but have conceded nine goals in the process. Moreover, Rosenborg’s last four away league matches have all ended in BTTS winners so there should be plenty more drama here.
Had the game been at Rosenborg’s Lerkendal Stadion then we might have left this one. With Valerenga at home, we think it should be a cert.

Hacken V AIK. 3PM
Andreas Alm’s AIK make the trip to Hacken in good form following back-to-back wins in Sweden’s Allsvenskan and should be confident as they look to claw themselves back into contention for top spot. However, they shouldn’t expect to have everything their own way at the Bravida Arena.
AIK’s form might be good, but they are conceding goals also. They’ve scored 11 goals and conceded eight in their last five matches alone, with four of those ending in BTTS winners. Meanwhile, the fact they’ve yet to win a single game on the road will afford an extra sense of optimism to the hosts.
Hacken aren’t in great form either. However, they should fancy their chances against a defence that has leaked nine in five away games so far. However, the hosts have leaked seven in five at the Bravida Arena themselves and are also noticeably lacking in quality so we cannot see them keeping a clean sheet.
The last four head-to-head meetings in Goteborg have all produced goals at both ends. We expect that trend to continue here.

Orebro V Halmstad. 3PM
Staying in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, Orebro take on fellow strugglers Halmstad at the Behm Arena. Both teams will be desperate for the points and we’re hoping that will lead to immense drama in this battle of potential relegation candidates.
Alex Axen’s men played out a dour stalemate in their last outing but have still scored six and conceded eight in their six home games. Midfield duo Daniel Gustavsson and Ahmed Yasin have both started the season in good scoring form and will both fancy their chances against an opposition arguably even worse than them.
Halmstad are still searching for a first away win and have really struggled for goals on the road. However, they must take an attacking approach in this very winnable fixture. Unfortunately, we cannot see them getting the vital win even if they do get themselves on the scoresheet.
Both 2014 fixtures ended in BTTS. Taking the need for points into consideration, we think it’s a safe bet to predict more goals from Saturday’s relegation scrap.
