It has already been a fascinating week of football thanks to some cracking action in Europe and the Football League. We’re hoping the weekend will follow suit with plenty of goals up and down the country.
We’re backing these six teams to all find the target at some stage on Saturday afternoon and have our fingers crossed for a lovely 9/2 treble at SkyBet.
Good luck!
Liverpool V Hull
Steve Bruce has transformed Hull City into a far more attacking unit in 2014/15 and the Tigers will be looking to inflict yet more misery on the stuttering Reds at Anfield.
Hull have notched an impressive 13 goals in eight Premier League fixtures this term, including two at the Emirates last weekend, and now boast some really good attacking talent in the form of Nikica Jelavic, Abel Hernandez and midfield dynamo Mo Diame. There is no reason that the visitors can’t cause problems for a Liverpool defence that has already conceded five goals over the past week.
However, Brendan Rodgers will take comfort from the fact his side hit three past QPR last week and the dramatic manner of their victory will definitely give them a lift. The midweek loss to Real Madrid won’t have helped but, with all due respect to Hull, Saturday’s clash isn’t quite as difficult as Wednesday’s Champions League encounter.
With the rebellious Mario Balotelli likely to be dropped, Rickie Lambert could be given his chance to shine and he’ll be eager to get on the scoresheet for his boyhood club. It would be a shock if Liverpool don’t score, but they are just as likely to concede at the moment. Back both teams to score.

Yeovil Town V Rochdale
If you want entertainment this season then you can’t go far wrong with a Rochdale away game and we’re predicting plenty of action from Saturday’s trip to Yeovil.
Keith Hill’s side have scored 16 and conceded nine from just six away games this term and Tuesday’s 3-2 win at Swindon was indicative of what to expect from Dale on the road in 2014/15. They might not boast the best defence in the division but, in Matt Done and Peter Vincenti, they do possess one of League One’s deadliest duos.
The goals might not be flowing quite as easily for Gary Johnson’s Glovers but they have at least found the target in four of their past five competitive home games. They should be confident about scoring against Rochdale and the Huish Park crowd could be set to see one of the more exciting games of their season so far.
Home advantage does give Yeovil a real chance of getting something from this game and it’s a particularly difficult one to predict the outcome of. The one thing we can expect, though, is chances at both ends. Let’s pray for goals.

Stevenage V Burton Albion
Our final selection comes from League Two as high-flying Burton Albion travel to the Lamex Stadium.
The Brewers will be confident of getting a positive result against a Stevenage side that currently sit 18th but Gary Rowett’s men may have to work for their victory. The hosts have already hit 11 goals on home turf this season and will be confident about increasing that tally against a Burton side that has shipped a dozen times in just seven games on the road.
Fortunately for Burton, they have also hit 11 in that period and should also find the target against the leaky Stevenage backline. They hit four in a memorable 4-3 win against Carslisle on Tuesday night and fans could be in for another goal glut here.
In fact, Burton’s last three away fixtures have all ended in BTTS winners. We expect that entertaining football to continue with another high-scoring contest.
