There might be a lack of fixtures in the English football schedule but there’s still plenty of action to sink our teeth into across Europe’s top leagues and we’re looking to get our weekend off to a winning start with this BTTS treble.
We’re backing these six teams to all find the target during the afternoon’s entertainment. We’ve certainly picked out much bigger winners over the season but we wouldn’t turn our noses up at another 3/1 victory.
Good luck!
Wolfsburg V Borussia Dortmund. 2:30PM
Our first selection comes from the Bundesliga as Jurgen Klopp takes charge of his final away game as Dortmund head to Wolfsburg in what should be an explosive affair.
Before the season started, nobody would’ve predicted Wolfsburg sitting in second and even fewer still would’ve foreseen Dortmund in seventh with just two gams to go. However, that’s the situation and Dieter Hecking’s men will certainly fancy their chances at the Volkswagen Arena.
The hosts have hit an impressive 68 league goals this term, with the likes of Bas Dost and Kevin De Bruyne enjoying phenomenal seasons. However, the BVB have improved greatly in recent weeks and should b confident about adding to their 43 goals, although 25 conceded on the road ill be a cause for concern.
Both teams are blessed with an array of attacking talent. The odds might not be great but we do expect this selection to win.

QPR V Newcastle United. 3PM
Already relegated QPR can play without fear as they play their final home game of the Premier League season, which could make Chris Ramsey’s men a dangerous outfit against a struggling Newcastle who are still desperate to pick up one final result to cement their top-flight status.
Despite being the Premier League’s best coach, John Carver’s men are nine games without a win. They will fancy their chances of breaking that run at Loftus Road, though, and the return of Papiss Cisse is a huge boost also.
Nonetheless, the Mapies are hit with some major problems right now and the Hoops can look to exploit those through top scorer Charlie Austin, who would love to score in what will presumably be his last home appearance for the club.
These are the two worst defences in the league, expect that to show during Saturday’s showdown.

Inverness CT V Dundee United. 3PM
Goals have been a common feature of Inverness’s home games this term, a statement that also rings true for Dundee United’s away record, and we think they’ll keep flowing in their final home game of the season at the Tulloch Caledonian stadium.
A strong home form has been central to the Europa League push of John Hughes’ men, who will be pleased with their return of 26 goals including two during the 2-1 win over Dundee United just earlier this month.
However, the visitors will take heart from their return of 26 on the road and can be confident about scoring against a Caley defences that has shipped 19 on the road and also has one eye on the Scottish FA Cup final. Jackie McNamara’s men have shipped 33 away goals, though, and are unlikely to keep a clean sheet here.
The two previous head-to-head meetings of 2015 have ended in BTTS winners and we fully expect that particular hat-trick to be completed in this third encounter of the year.
