Games are quickly running out in the English football season and teams from up and down the country will be determined to secure positive results this weekend. We’re looking to capitalise on that spirit with this tempting 9/2 treble.
We’re backing these six teams to all find the target and are optimistic of securing a lovely Saturday afternoon winner.

Sunderland V Crystal Palace
Dick Advocaat was thrilled to see his Sunderland side beat arch rivals Newcastle in his first home game at the Stadium of Light and the Black Cats now look odds-on favourites to beat the drop. However, they shouldn’t expect to have things so easy against a Crystal Palace side managed by former Magpies boss Alan Pardew.
The visiting Eagles have been brilliant since Pardew’s arrival, which was highlighted once again with Monday’s heroic win over Manchester City. Palace have shipped 21 goals on the road, however, and that will provide an extra source of motivation for Sunderland.
Sunderland’s matches might not be the most exciting but there is a new sense of optimism following Advocaat’s temporary appointment. Meanwhile, Jermain Defoe will be full of confidence following last weekend’s stunning winner and that could give the Black Cats a great chance of finding the target.
Palace are in great shape, though, and will be equally expectant of goals. Six of their past seven competitive fixtures have ended in BTTS winners and we’re backing that sequence to continue here.

Crewe Alexandra V Leyton Orient
League One rivals Crewe and Leyton Orient are both trapped in a fierce scrap for survival and Saturday’s showdown at Gresty Road could provide a lot of answers regarding what division these two will be playing in next term. It’s an absolutely colossal game for both sides and we’re anticipating plenty of action.
Neither side are particularly frequent scorers but, at the business end of the season, we can expect to see an attacking approach from both teams. Considering they’ve conceded a combined total of 127 in 81 matches, it wouldn’t be a surprise if both fail to keep a clean sheet.
The Boxing Day clash at Brisbane Road ended in a 4-1 triumph for the O’s and the likes of Dave Mooney, Chris Dagnall and Darius Henderson will all be eager to increase their personal tallies here. However, Alexandra will pose a much bigger threat at home, where they’ve won more than they’ve lost.
This is an intriguing battle that could go either way. Whatever happens, we’re confident about seeing the net bulge.

AFC Telford United V Lincoln City
Goals have been a common feature for Conference National rivals Telford and Lincoln this season and we cannot see that trend ending as the two clubs meet at the New Bucks Head.
Rock-bottom Telford are already relegated but they’re ability to find the target has never been in doubt. The home side hit three goals away at Southport on Monday to take their overall tally to 54 goals and Steve Kittrick’s men certainly won’t be worried against an Imps side that has conceded 41 times in just 20 matches on the road.
Likewise, Chris Moyses’ men will fancy their chances of goals against a Telford defence that has leaked 42 on home turf. The Imps registered a 2-0 win at Sincil Bank back in October and should have no trouble getting amongst the goals once more, but will know that the hosts pose a much bigger threat here – especially as they’re playing without any pressure.
The price is admittedly a little short, but this is a selection we’d expect to have won before the hour mark. It has to be worth included.
