From a spectating perspective, Tuesday’s attentions will primarily be cast to the night’s Champions League and FA Cup drama. As far as the betting outlook is concerned, though, we’re concentrating on the domestic league action and looking to land this tasty BTTS treble.
We’ve picked out three games where we don’t think any clean sheets will be recorded. At odds of nearly 11/2, it would be the perfect way to get our weekend up and running in style. It has to be worth a punt.
QPR v Derby County
Form has been inconsistent for the Hoops, both before and since the appointment of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, but goals have been a common feature at Loftus Road and there’s no reason to think that trend will end on Tuesday night.
QPR’s previous 17 home games have brought 26 goals at the right end and 20 in the conceded column. In spite of losing Charlie Austin in January, the quality of Matt Phillips, Junior Hoilett and co should give them a great chance of making the net ripple against a Derby side that leaked 17 in 17 on the road.
The Rams have improved under new boss Darren Wassall, though, and are now looking comfortable in the play-off places once more. They’ve already scored 20 on the road, and will be fancied to extend that tally with star man Chris Martin the most likely scorer on the pitch.
Derby’s last five away matches have ended in BTTS winners. Fancy them to complete a half dozen in the capital.

Dagenham & Redbridge v Carlisle United
Keith Curle’s Cumbrians have been a firm favourite on the BTTS coupon this season, and we don’t see any reason to think the goals will dry up as they head to Victoria Road.
The visitors have scored 21 away goals this term, and also boast one of League Two’s most lethal strikers in Jabo Ibehre. Their past three league matches have ended in BTTS winners, and there’s no reason that they shouldn’t at least find the net against the Football League’s bottom side.
However, Carlisle have leaked 24 times in those 16 away outings, as well as losing 4-1 at home to Norhtampton this week. Meanwhile, John Still’s hosts can be confident after picking up four points from their past two matches. Perhaps the experience of Jamie Cureton can fire them to another crucial victory here.
Besides, it’s Dagenham AND Redbridge. That’s surely got to give the hosts double the chance of scoring, right?

Torquay United v Braintree Town
In the Conference, a run of four straight wins has miraculously seen Kevin Nicholson’s Torquay reignite their hopes of survival. In fact, a midweek win at Plainmoor could see them go level on points with those just above the dreaded drop zone. Unfortunately, they could be in for an intense battle as they take on the high-flying Brains.
Torquay are one of the division’s form sides right now, and can take further confidence from the 19 home goals they’ve scored thus far. Nevertheless, they cannot overlook the form of Danny Cowley’s visitors.
Strikers Michael Cheek and Simeon Akinola will pose problems for the hosts, and Braintree should increase their tally of 23 away goals. While they do boast a pretty solid defensive record, the confidence of Torquay’s attacking players could mean that the visitors do concede too.
It was 0-0 when the sides met back in Essex. This time, however, we’re predicting plenty of drama at each end.
