With just a few games to go until the domestic campaign comes to an end, we here at Goals Galore are making the most of the desperate sides who need those last few points at either end of the table. Here are our BTTS picks for the weekend:

Southampton v Everton – 12.45pm Saturday
Both teams to score odds – 4/6 with Ladbrokes
Two of the overachievers of the season meet here, as Southampton host an Everton side chasing for a Champions League place. Both managers in Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto Martinez have been credited highly for the work they have done at their respective clubs and we should see some exciting football in the early kick off on Saturday.
Southampton have little to play for, but being at home there will be an expectation to put on a performance for their fans and even more so with the TV cameras having this one as the early kick off. The Saints are sitting in eighth place and are expected to finish there with Manchester United eight points ahead and Newcastle three points behind but looking unlikely to ever win again based on current displays. Southampton have scored a huge 50 goals this season and with Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert wanting to chip in with a few goals as they hunt down an England place I expect BTTS to land.
I am far more confident of the away side finding the net, Everton have to win, as they need to pile the pressure on Arsenal for the final Champions League spot. Away from Goodison Park Everton have won their last three games and the Toffees have also scored in each of their last nine games. It is no surprise when you look through the attacking talent on show and the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Steven Naismith and Ross Barkley are all likely to get in on the act.
Liverpool v Chelsea – 2.05pm Sunday
Both teams to score odds – 3/5 with Ladbrokes
What a game!!! This could all but seal a historic Premier League title for Liverpool. Standing in their way is a Chelsea side who appear to be focussing on their Champions League Semi Final second leg tie against Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge. A Chelsea victory today will put them within two points of league leaders Liverpool and surely that will not be an opportunity Jose Mourinho will liberate with ease.
If the season ended right at this moment, Liverpool would be deserved Champions. Luis Suarez has been formidable in front of goal and has been the Player of the Season in the Premier League with that accolade likely to be officially announced shortly. Captain Steven Gerrard has spearheaded their dominance too and even more so in recent times, where he has galvanised the side continuously. Back to our bet of requiring Liverpool to score, it looks a given. The Reds have won 11 games in a row and have been undefeated for 16. The stat which looks outstanding is that Pool have scored in each of their last 25 matches. In such a big game I expect the big players to rise to the occasion so expect that net to bulge several times.
Chelsea may well have thrown away their title chances last weekend when they fell to defeat at the hands of Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, and in doing so breaking manager Mourinho’s outstanding unbeaten record. On Tuesday night they put on the necessary performance in Spain to ensure they return to London with it all to play for. Here though is a game which Jose will not just simply hand to the Merseysiders and I expect a different type of Chelsea who may fight fire with fire and attack from the start as just a draw will not suit the Blues. The in form Demba Ba will start along with Salah and Schurrle and with quality like that I expect Chelsea to find the back of the net.
Derby County v Watford – 3.00pm Saturday
Both teams to score odds – 4/6 with Ladbrokes
Derby are all ready and set for the Play Offs as they look destined to finish in third place after missing out to Burnley for the final automatic spot. Watford are also holding out faint hopes for a promotion back to the Premier League as they have an outside chance for a final place in the Play Offs. In reality a finish in the top half will be their aim.
Despite Derby being assured of the Play Offs they will want to keep on winning to ensure they have all of the momentum going in the knockout stages of the Championship. With star players Patrick Bamford and Will Hughes close to return, they will too want to give them the necessary match fitness which will also be a boost for County. The Rams have won their last four games, scoring at least two goals in each of these as well as registering wins their last four at Pride Park a record they will wish to continue.
Watford have been simply fantastic in the last third of the season and their run of games unbeaten was ended earlier in the week when QPR came from behind to take away three points from the game with the Hornets. Watford will want to get back to winning ways and what looks good for our bet is the fact they have scored in each of their last 11 games. Troy Deeney has been on fire and I am predicting the striker will score here.
