Wednesday’s BTTS treble is another Champions League selection as the first leg matches of round three qualifying conclude.
At this stage of the competition, every team will be desperate to edge closer towards the real competition. We’ve picked six teams to all find the target and hope they’ll provide a perfect midweek boom at odds of 9/2.

Salzburg V Malmo. 6PM
Red Bull Salzburg started their Austrian Bundesliga campaign with a shock 2-1 win at Mattersburg and will be desperate to bounce back in style by getting their Champions League campaign off in style as they welcome Malmo to the Red Bull Arena.
Peter Zeilder’s men are known for their attacking style, which should help both parts of this bet. The Austrians have plenty of great forward players, but Jonathan Soriano has to be the main threat and the Spaniard will surely have the Swedish visitors shaking.
However, Malmo have finally recovered from their bad form and Age Hareide’s men can head to Austria in fine spirit. It will be a difficult test for the visitors, but Jo Inge Berget and Markus Rosenberg can cause problems for the hosts.
Salzburg will be expected to win, but don’t be surprised if they concede.

Lech Poznan V FC Basel. 7:45PM
Maciej Skorza’s men are in good form having won four of their first five matches of the season. However, the Poles should be prepared for a tough test against Swiss side FC Basel.
The visitors have enjoyed some great times in Europe in recent years, and will be eager to create some more magical memories in this year’s Champions League. Urs Fischer’s men have also started 2015/16 in great form, netting five in their opening two Super League matches.
Poznan have scored in all five matches so far, though, and should be confident in front of their own fans. The INEA stadion will be rocking and the 12th man can help them get on the scoresheet. Considering the difficult nature of next week’s return clash, it’s imperative that they do.
We wouldn’t be overly confident about picking a winner in this first leg contest, but we do think both teams can score.

Rapid Vienna V Ajax. 8:05PM
Ajax might be one of the best known clubs in world football, but Frank de Boer’s men haven’t performed too well in Europe recently. The Dutch giants will be desperate to improve in 2015/16, starting with this trip to the Austrian capital.
The Amsterdam giants do boast some quality attacking players in the form of Yaya Sanogo, Lasse Schone and Arkadiusz Milik. An away goal could be vital and the Eredivisie club will be determined to find the target.
Rapid Vienna started their domestic campaign with a confident opening day win against Ried at the weekend and Zoran Barisic’s men will be confident of goals here. It’s vital that they take an advantage to the Dutch capital next weekend and we’d expect the home side to be gunning for goals.
This is an encounter that could go either way. But we hope there will be goals.
