Our first selection comes from Sweden as Gothenburg look to overturn a one-goal deficit against Portuguese outfit Beleneses. This tie hangs in the balance, and both sides will still fancy their chances of progressing.
The Swedes registered a 6-0 home win against Orebro on Sunday, so Jorgen Lennartsson’s men have no reason to panic at the Nya Gamla Ullevi. The Allsvenskan leaders have netted 16 in nine home league games, and will be hoping to use that attacking quality to maximum impact here.
However, the visitors will pose a decent attacking threat too. Carlos Martins will be in particularly buoyant mood after netting two in the home leg while the likes of Camara and Andre Sousa will be equally eager to get amongst the goals in Sweden.
The away goal means that Belenenses cannot afford to rest on their laurels, which is why we’re backing both teams to score.

Last week, Rosenborg clinched a thrilling 3-2 away win in Hungary and the Norwegians will head into Thursday’s second leg in supreme confidence. Nonetheless, they should expect to be pushed at the way at the Lerkendal.
Kare Ingebrigsten’s men have enjoyed some fantastic form in recent weeks, winning each of their past six competitive fixtures. With the likes of Pal Helland and Alexander Soderlund finding the target with ease, the Tippeligaen side should have little trouble finding the target on home soil.
The visitors are in good scoring form themselves. In fact their past six competitive fixtures have ended in BTTS winners. Elemer Kondas’ men have scored 20 in that period, conceding 13 in the process.
Goals have been flowing for both these sides in recent weeks. There’s no reason to think that will ease up here.

Ronald Koeman’s men started their Europa League adventure with a stunning 3-0 win in last week’s first leg at St Mary’s, and are on the brink of advancing as the head the GelreDome. However, we can expect a tighter affair on Dutch soil.
The Saints will want an away goal to make their place in the next round certain. There’s no reason to think they won’t get it, even if they do rest a few of their senior players. Considering the scoreline, along with the fact their Premier League campaign starts this weekend, it looks almost certain that they will.
A weakened squad should give Vitesse an increased chance of scoring. Peter Bosz’s men do have some quality youngsters and will have to attack, which should make for ample chances at both ends of the field.
The Dutch side can restore some pride by winning this leg, but qualification looks almost impossible. We’re backing Saints to score the crucial away goal, even if they don’t win the match.
