After seeing some return last weekend, I’m hopeful of ending November on a high with three more selections from the Premier League and Championship.
As usual, I’ll be playing all three players as singles, knowing that even one winner will see us break roughly even on those singles. However, I’ll also be placing a treble with hopes of landing the big 25/1 winner at SkyBet!
So, essentially, one win equals a minor loss while two would signal steady profit. Hit the three and we’ll be laughing all the way to the bookies come 5PM. Let’s have it.
Aston Villa V Watford. 3PM
BET: Odion Ighalo to score anytime @ 9/4 with SkyBet
Sorry Aston Villa are in dire straits right now, and even a change of manager hasn’t helped the cause. Quite frankly, the Premier League’s bottom side always look like conceding and the Hornets have more than enough quality to sting their opponents at Villa Park.
Watford have hit eight goals in six matches on the road already. I’m not overly confident that the visitors will necessarily win, but they should find the target. While they’ve got a handful of potential candidates, my money would be on top scorer Odion Ighalo.

The Nigeria is enjoying a brilliant partnership with Troy Deeney in attack. While it was the latter that scored against Manchester United last week, it’s Ighalo that boasts a return of seven goals already. A clash against Villa has to be the perfect time to extend that.
At those odds, it’s almost impossible to resist.
Blackburn Rovers V Sheffield Wednesday. 3PM
BET: Jordan Rhodes to score anytime @ 7/4 with SkyBet
Nobody will be surprised to see Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes sitting towards the top of this season’s Championship scoring charts, and I’ll be backing the Scotland international to reach double figures in this clash at Ewood Park.
Rovers have been effected by matters behind the scenes this season, but they’re currently enjoying their best form of the season after picking up eight points from the last available 12. While the Owls will offer very stiff competition, the momentum should at least allow the hosts to score. It’s hard to see past their main man, especially since Rudy Gestede left for Aston Villa in the summer.
Rhodes should be in good confidence after scoring at Preston last weekend. Wednesday’s defence can be got at too, as is underlined by the fact they’ve leaked 11 in eight matches on the road.
Let’s hope Jordan will lead us on the Rhodes to success.
Fulham V Preston NE. 3PM
BET: Moussa Dembele to score anytime @ 15/8 with SkyBet
It’s no secret that all eyes are on Fulham’s Moussa Dembele right now, and the next five weeks could be crucial to deciding whether he gets his big Premier League move. The youngster has a real chance to put himself in the shop window, and I expect him to start it in style with another goal against Preston.
The Frenchman has already netted eight league goals this term, including one at MK Dons last weekend. The teenager has bags of quality for this level, and that should show against one of the division’s poorer sides.
That’s not to say that Preston should be ruled out completely. However, Fulham’s players know that they’ve got a lot to play for due to the managerial situation and this should give them an extra emphasis here.
Nevertheless, nobody has a bigger motivation than Dembele, and I’m backing him to emerge as the hero.
As well as the singles, I’ll be playing the treble too. If all three players score, a £10 stake would return £257.40. Added to the single victories, that would make one hell of a night.
