Hello, I’m Martin and I’m delighted to be joining the team at Goals Galore Tips team. I’ll be here with regular tips on the anytime goalscorer market and hope to continue the good work of other tipsters on site.
For those of you that don’t know what a Trixie is, I am basically backing three selections and betting on the doubles and the treble. You’re placing four bets in total, in the knowledge that only two selections need to come in for a return (usually a slight profit) while three winning tips will see us scoop four winning bets – including a very pleasing treble.
My tips for Tuesday night come courtesy of the night’s Vanarama Conference action. Hopefully we’ll get off to the perfect start.
Tranmere Rovers v Barrow 7:45PM
BET: Jamie Harris (Tranmere) anytime goalscorer @ 4/1
Tranmere are in great scoring form, finding the net in 11 consecutive matches. Gary Brabin’s men boast 14 goals in just eight games at Prenton Park and will be fancied to increase that tally against Barrow. Jamie Harris is the man I’m backing to do it.
The midfielder has scored two league goals this season and is a key man for Rovers. He’s played all 16 matches this term and should play another vital role on Tuesday night. The hosts will also be eager to bounce back from their weekend loss against Eastleigh, which could give them another incentive to attack.
Barrow have leaked 21 goals on the road, more than any other Conference away side. The promotion-chasing hosts should take advantage, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them score two or three goals here. Back Harris to be amongst them.
Welling United V Lincoln City 7:45PM
BET: Matt Rhead (Lincoln) anytime goalscorer @ 11/8
Lincoln City are always a great bet for goals, and I can’t see the Imps struggling at Park View Road. If the visitors do enjoy a productive night in the attacking third, top scorer Matt Rhead should get his name on the scoresheet.
Rhead boasts 11 league goals already this season, and should be raring to go against struggling Welling. The hosts have conceded nine goals from eight home matches while Lincoln boast 11 on the road. Their superiority should shine through, and I would expect the visitors to seal a score draw at least.
It took Rhead just four minutes to open the scoring in Saturday’s 3-2 win at Chester. I’m predicting another strike for the in-from attack here.
Woking V Torquay United 7:45PM
BET: John Goddard (Woking) anytime goalscorer @ 7/5
Don’t let Torquay’s weekend win at fellow strugglers Southport fool you. The Gulls are in a bad way following the major shift at Plainmoor in recent weeks, and could be set for a return to losing ways as they make the trip to Kingfield on Tuesday night.
The Cardinals haven’t been in the best form either, but they did get back to winning ways this weekend and boast 14 goals in seven home matches. Injuries to key men mean that Garry Hill is relying on players a little further back, and John Goddard is the leading candidate.
Goddard has hit eight goals this term, including the second in Saturday’s 3-0 demolition of Halifax. His confidence will be high, and I think he can increase his personal tally against one of the league’s worst defensive units.
Trixie Returns:
Based on a total bet of £10 (4x £2.50 stakes), a winning treble returns £145.19. If two selections win, your returns will be a minimum of £14.25 and maximum of £29.69. Otherwise just use my tips as a guide and go for your best single bet!
