Tuesday’s football schedule serves up a mixture of domestic and European matches and we’re aiming to score an 11/2 winner on the BTTS coupon at Betfred.
We’ve pinpointed three matches in which we think both teams will find the target and are hopeful of netting some lovely midweek profit.
We were unfortunate to miss out with Saturday’s treble, as only Lincoln failed to score. Let’s go one better here!
PSG V Chelsea
Champions League football is back and this week sees Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea head to France to take on Ligue 1 giants PSG. We’re anticipating an explosive affair between the two moneybags titans.
The two sides met in last year’s competition, with the Ligue 1 club beating the Blues 3-1 in the corresponding first-leg contest. However, having seen Chelsea turn things around at Stamford Bridge last term, Laurent Blanc’s side men will be desperate to score an advantage in this encounter at the Parc des Princes.
PSG certainly boast the firepower to cause problems and in Zlatan Ibrahimovic possess a player capable of winning matches on his own. However, it is worth noting that the Parisians have struggled defensively this season and there is no reason the might of Chelsea can’t find a way through.
This has all the makings of a classic and we don’t think the two teams will disappoint. Back goals.

Cardiff City V Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers were absolutely brilliant during their weekend win over Stoke and they’ll be hoping to follow up those cup heroics with a similar level of performance at the Cardiff City Stadium.
However, the Bluebirds are a tough nut to crack in Wales and Russell Slade’s men will fancy their chances of increasing their tally of 23 home goals. They should be particularly confident against an away side that has shipped 24 on the road.
Cardiff do enter the match in rather bad form, though, having gone six competitive fixtures without a win. Gary Bowyer’s men will be optimistic and the boost from last weekend’s win against Stoke should give them a great chance of success in the Welsh capital.
The two sides shared a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park earlier in the campaign. A similar result would suit us just fine.

Doncaster Rovers V Crewe Alexandra
League One rivals Doncaster and Crewe both enter Tuesday’s showdown at the Keepmoat on the back of some decent form and that should produce a cracking spectacle for the neutral.
Neither side has scored that many goals this term, but both boast over one per game. With Rovers scoring eight in their past two matches and Alexandra winning each of their past three, there is no reason that the attackers won’t be confident here.
Both sides have been quite economical in defence recently, but the overall record would suggest goals. Doncaster have shipped 33 in 29 League One outings, whilst Crewe have conceded a staggering 51.
Meanwhile, the past three head-to-head meetings have ended in BTTS winners, including November’s 1-1 draw at Gresty Road. This probably won’t be a seven-goal thriller, but there should be enough chances for both teams to find the target.
Back both teams to score.
